It would be lovely- if only I had ever met him before.
A Girl
I went to save the world
But there was nothing left.
Only tinsel and browning lettuce,
Knick knacks buried in the sand,
And a letter from a foreign land
Written with a wounded hand.
I'll move forward then-
And save something else.
